# Who the I AM Program Is For

The audiences, readiness, and expectations described for THC's live I AM Program.

The current THC program page describes the I AM Program as suitable for adults including:

* professionals experiencing chronic stress, burnout, or decision fatigue
* people who have tried mindfulness apps or courses and found only temporary relief
* learners curious about meditation, nondual philosophy, or consciousness
* teachers, therapists, coaches, and wellness practitioners seeking deeper personal grounding
* parents who want to cultivate inner steadiness
* people willing to examine their own direct experience honestly

## Prior meditation experience

The current program does **not** require prior meditation experience.

It begins from first principles.

Experienced practitioners may still find the inquiry useful because the emphasis is not on adding another technique but on examining the relationship between awareness and mental content.

## The main prerequisite

The program repeatedly emphasises **curiosity and willingness to look directly**.

It is not designed around memorising philosophy or adopting a belief system.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.theholisticcare.com/knowledge/the-i-am-program/who-the-i-am-program-is-for.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
