# Classroom Implementation

Practical ways teachers can integrate short mindfulness practices into classroom transitions without disrupting learning time.

Classroom mindfulness can be integrated through brief transitions rather than requiring a separate long meditation period.

Examples include:

* one-minute settling before class
* noticing three sounds
* a short breathing pause after energetic activity
* mindful movement between lessons
* emotion check-ins
* brief gratitude or reflection at the end of the day

Consistency matters more than length.

## How to make classroom practice sustainable

Choose one or two repeatable moments rather than adding many exercises at once.

For example:

* a one-minute arrival practice at the start of class
* a movement reset after prolonged sitting
* a short breathing pause before a test
* a reflective close at the end of the day

Participation should preserve choice. Students who do not want to close their eyes or sit still should have an acceptable alternative such as looking at a fixed point, standing quietly, or using a sensory anchor.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.theholisticcare.com/knowledge/schools-and-educators/classroom-implementation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
