# Everyday Examples of Nonduality

How moments of absorbed activity, silence, laughter, grief, and presence can soften the usual sense of separation.

Nonduality can sound abstract when treated only as philosophy.

THC's current article points instead to ordinary moments in which the usual narrator becomes less dominant.

Examples may include:

* complete absorption in creative work
* spontaneous laughter
* deep listening
* moments of awe
* grief in which self-protection temporarily falls away
* quiet pauses when experience is present before commentary begins

## Do not turn the examples into proof

A beautiful or absorbed moment does not automatically prove a metaphysical conclusion.

The value of these examples is experiential.

They invite the question:

**What is experience like when the usual story of “me versus everything else” becomes quieter?**

That question can be explored directly without forcing an answer.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.theholisticcare.com/knowledge/guides-and-insights/everyday-examples-of-nonduality.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
