# Adult Mindfulness Facilitator Certification

THC's adult-facilitation pathway combining personal practice, group skills, I AM curriculum delivery, and supervised practicum.

The **Adult Mindfulness Facilitator Certification** is designed for people guiding adult groups through mindfulness, awareness, and self-inquiry.

The current public pathway describes a 5-day intensive followed by a 6-week practicum.

## Core areas

* deepening personal practice
* the I AM investigation
* adult-learning principles
* group dynamics
* holding space responsibly
* I AM Program delivery
* adult workshop formats
* responding to challenging situations
* supervised live facilitation

## Personal practice is part of professional preparation

A facilitator does not need to perform spiritual certainty.

But they should have enough first-hand experience to recognise common patterns such as distraction, resistance, self-judgement, emotional activation, and the urge to force an outcome.

The aim is grounded facilitation rather than simply reading a script aloud.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.theholisticcare.com/knowledge/facilitator-training/adult-mindfulness-facilitator-certification.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
