# The Movie Projector

A story-based course helping children notice thoughts as mental events rather than automatic instructions.

**The Movie Projector** is the second adventure in The Awareness Chronicles.

The central metaphor is simple: thoughts can appear like films on a screen.

## Best suited for

* children approximately ages 8 to 12
* racing thoughts
* repetitive worry
* embarrassment and self-doubt
* learners who get pulled deeply into imagined outcomes

## Core learning idea

A thought can feel convincing without being a command or a complete fact.

Learners practise noticing the "mind movie," pausing, and returning attention to the quieter awareness in which the thought appears.

## Approximate duration

**10.2 hours**, self-paced.

The course uses stories, creative activities, drawing, journaling, and short mindful pauses.
