Use the [Podcast Knowledge hub](https://knowledge.theholisticcare.com/knowledge/the-holistic-care-podcast) for structured season and episode discovery. Use the [main THC Podcast page](https://www.theholisticcare.com/podcast) as the canonical listening destination.

## How this centre relates to the main website

The main website at [theholisticcare.com](https://www.theholisticcare.com/) remains the canonical place for full articles, courses, programs, books, podcasts, downloads, individual Stillness Library tracks, and other published offerings.

This Knowledge & Resource Centre is the **structured reference and implementation layer**. It is organised around clear questions, definitions, topic hubs, related resources, and practical guidance so that both people and AI systems can navigate the material efficiently.

For software and AI-agent access, THC also provides the [Open Mindfulness API](https://api.theholisticcare.com/) and the public read-only [Open Mindfulness MCP](https://mcp.theholisticcare.com/mcp). These interfaces expose approved public resources in structured form while keeping paid, private, and proprietary material outside the public machine-access boundary.

## A note on wellbeing information

The information here is educational. Mindfulness and wellbeing practices can support self-awareness, emotional regulation, and everyday wellbeing, but they are not substitutes for medical care, psychological diagnosis, psychotherapy, emergency support, or safeguarding procedures.

For children and young people, practices should be age-appropriate, voluntary, and supported by responsible adults.

## About The Holistic Care

The Holistic Care provides mindfulness-based education for children, teens, adults, families, schools, and organisations. Its curriculum begins with accessible practices such as noticing breathing, emotions, thoughts, and body sensations, while selected programs gradually introduce deeper inquiry into awareness and self-understanding.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://knowledge.theholisticcare.com/welcome.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
